About MoneySKILL® The MoneySKILL curriculum reaches more students each year. More than 10,000 teachers from all 50 states have registered to use MoneySKILL to teach students personal finance concepts, and more than 275,000 students have been enrolled in the course since its inception. MoneySKILL is updated to incorporate suggestions from teachers to make the course easier to use with students. Among the changes were making the grade book match the order of the modules indicated by the teacher in the class setup process, letting students retake a particular module, and allowing teachers to duplicate or recreate a course of study used by a previous class. Teacher feedback in response to the changes has been very positive. Lauretta Doyle of Stoughton High School (WI) wrote, “The upgrades you have made are phenomenal and came right at the right time for my students.” MoneySKILL educates high school students on the basic understanding of money management fundamentals in the content areas of income, expenses, assets, liabilities and risk management. The course is designed to be used as all or part of a course in economics, math, social studies or wherever personal finances are taught. Students can access the modules in the classroom or at home. Built-in quizzes test students’ grasp of each concept.
